PERSONAL ASSESSMENT of YOUR ATTIBUTES and SKILLS
Attributes, Skills and Responsibilities represents one of four disciplines of LEADERSHIP. The other three disciplines are: VALUES/BELIEFS, LEADERSHIP STYLE and RELATIONSHIPS/UNDERSTANDING POWER, CHANGE and CONFLICT. The four disciplines together form one way for viewing LEADERSHIP.
To personally assess your strengths regarding the seven most important Attributes and Skills, please follow these directions:
1. Review LESSON 4 on LEARNHUB/INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP - ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS OF EFFECTIVE LEADERS
2. From the research of Calzi, Denig and Iannarelli -- Seven ( 7 ) Attributes and Skills were identified by 176 respondents to represent leader effectiveness. These attributes and skills in order of frequency as identified by the participants in the research were:

e. Ability to Motivate Others
f. Educational Values
g. Organizational Ability / Others
For those of you who wish to personally assess your strength in each of these areas, please use the following performance rating scale. Place your personal rating from a low of 1 to a high of 10 on each of the attributes and skills in the score area. Then review the questions before you complete the INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN that can be found in LESSON 11.
